Research Assistant — Soft Robotic Actuators & Tele-Rehabilitation
- Building and validating the control system for a soft robotic rehabilitation glove (pneumatic actuation, sensor feedback, control logic, testing).
- Developing ROS 2 / micro-ROS integration for motion-pattern adjustment and real-time logging of EMG, flex-sensor error, and IMU data.
- Preparing technical documentation covering control architecture, testing, and engineering recommendations.

Portable ESP32 electropneumatic controller — four-state FSM, unidirectional PID, flex-sensor feedback, serial telemetry; bench-validated (< 750 g, ~41 OMR). Course project expanded into funded research.
2.53:1 gearbox sizing shafts (DE-Goodman), spur gears (AGMA), bearings, and head bolts for infinite life.
Hardware system identification (NI-DAQ) and closed-loop speed control of a DC servo motor; documented as an IEEE-format paper.
Bare-metal ATmega8 access control in C with Proteus schematic capture and simulation.
